Waterfall rappelling at Bhivpuri on Saturday, 30th July. Come and enjoy the thrill of this happening recreational adventure sport this monsoon.
Bekre waterfall is a hidden waterfall which lies close to Bhivpuri station. A short 10 minutes drive from Bhivpuri station takes us to a village from where this waterfall is 30 minutes away. The route to this waterfall is very scenic in monsoons with lush greenery all around, we will be crossing a small river as well and trekking through dense vegetation. The trek from the village till the waterfall is very easy and no pre trek experience is required.
Once at the waterfall other than the main rappelling patch you can also spend time in the nearby pools and small waterfalls.
Rappelling or Abseiling is a technique used for controlled descending down from a rock patch or slope. The main equipment used are high quality ropes, descender, seat harness along with gloves and helmet for safety. This technique has been absorbed by our adventure experts to create a happening recreational adventure activity wherein we will descend down on a rope that too under the refreshing flow of water via waterfalls, under the safety and security of experts.

Karjat Fast Train: Starts from CST at 06:10am – Get down at Bhivpuri 07:51am
Reach Karjat by Sinhagad express (6.05am@Pune station). From Karjat they can catch Karjat-CST local to reach Bhivpuri station
Meet up at Bhivpuri rly station at 08.00 am then further proceed towards Bekre village by local transport.
Breakfast and Introduction session at Bekre village and start a small trek towards the waterfall. Instruction session at waterfall and start the rappelling activity (09:30am). Enjoy the thrill of Bekre waterfall throughout the day with an amazing rappelling under the expert’s guidance.
Evening departs to Bhivpuri and then further proceed towards Mumbai/Pune.
What to carry:
1. Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, all luggage wrapped in plastic bags to avoid getting wet
2. Complete spare set of clothes & socks
3. Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory
4. Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication
5. A sweater/warmwear (to use while return journey to avoid cold)
6. Good trekking shoes or floaters (sandles, chappals, not permitted)
7. Camera -Optional (only if waterproof or water resistant)
