AMK is undoubtedly one of the most demanding and considered to be one of the toughest treks in Maharashtra. If you haven't done it you haven't finished trekking in Maharashtra. This trek is the test of your mental & physical stamina, confidence & endurance. This massive range of trio forts provides you some of the great scenes in Maharashtra. All three forts stand high with the towering height more than 4800 ft provides scenery that you will never forget.

DAY 1 : Saturday 09th April 2016

00:07 Hrs: Kalyan

01:18 Hrs: Kasara

Depart 2 Ambewadi by Private vehicle

(If you miss the train you miss the trek)

3.00am : Ambewadi

3.30am : start trek Alang after introduction

6.00am : Alang base.

> Lunch At Alang Cave

> Start Traversing Madan

> Reach Summit Of Madan

> Start Descending & Dinner 

> Night Stay in Cave Of Madangad base.

DAY 2 : Sunday 10th April 2016

6.00 am - Wakeup Call

7 am - GET Ready

> Breakfast,Tea

> Start Towards Kulang

> Reach Kulang Top + Lunch

>Explore Massive Kulang ,Information, Photo

>Start Descending Down

> 09:00 PM – Reaching Kasara ( Which is Tentative ).

>11:30 PM – Mumbai (Reaching Mumbai via Locals shall be Tentative).


Things to be Carried:

1) Sleeping bag / Sheet

2) A good Torch and extra batteries (Preferably a torch with a flood and not a spot)

3) Plastic packets

4) Trekking wear, Shoes and tracks, shorts, cap, etc

5) Extra pairs of clothes and socks and a jacket for the cold.

6) Toiletries

7) Camera

8) Some snacks to munch on the way.

9) Bring along an emergency light if you have one (Just in case)

10) Water bottles - 4 liters

11) A Re-usable spoon and a plate. Also a cup/glass if you drink tea.

VIMP Note: - Please do keep space for weight distribution about at least 1 kg in your bag ... As Food materials to be distributed among the participants...
