Vikatgad alias Peb Fort is situated on northeast side of Panvel, on Mumbai - Pune road, at a distance of 3-4 km on west side of Neral. The fort derived its name Peb from the goddess Pebi at the base of the fort This is the most beautiful and ideal for beginners trek near Mumbai which can be easily done in one day. Historical references clearly indicate that Shivaji Maharaj used the caves on the fort as silos for grain storage.

Itinerary:
08:00 Report at Neral Railway Station & Breakfast
08:45 Move by Taxi up to Kadyavarcha Ganpati Point
09:30 Introduction, Start trek towards Peb Fort
10:00 Visit Kadyavarcha Ganpati
11:30 Reach atop of Peb Fort.
Exploration & Lunch break for 2 hrs.
02:00 Start descending.
04:00 Reach Neral T & Breakfast
05:00 Disperse at Neral Railway Station
07:00 We will reach Dadar (time is subjective)

Contribution: Rs. 400/-
Includes:
1. Transport from Neral to Neral by Taxi
2. Morning breakfast & Evening Tea.
3. Trek ways Charges.

1.  Lunch, Cold drinks, mineral water, etc.

Medicine those require usually.
Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried.
Pack your bags to save them from getting wet.

Note:
Please avoid wearing gold ornaments and carrying valuables.
