Event Details:-

Naneghat trek is one of the best Monsoon treks. Naneghat trek is simple & enjoyable. It's the one of the ancient trade routes, existing right from the Satvahanas and was in extensive use to transport goods arriving at Junnar which was then a flourished market place. A thumb shaped cliff that can be viewed from the highway is the topmost point of Naneghat & is also known as Nana's thumb.


The tentative itinerary for the Event is as given below: 

Meeting Point : Dadar
We will be meeting near Swami Narayan Temple (near to Dadar railway station), at 11:30 PM on Saturday 18th June, 2016.
Pickup Point : Thane @12.30 AM
Reach base village by 4 AM then rest for some time.
Start trekking by 6:00 AM
Walk through the beautiful forest trail and have breakfast enroute.
Reach Naneghat Caves by 09:30 AM
Explore water cisterns that bear water all through the year, naneghatachi nali, famous stone pot called Raanjan and Maruti temple nearby.
Have Lunch at Naneghat caves and rest for some time.
Start return journey by 1:00 PM 
Reach the base village by 3:30 PM 
Reach Dadar by 7:00 PM (Tentative)


The cost for the trek will be INR 1000/- per head, which includes, 

Travelling from Dadar to Dadar by Private NON AC Vehicle
Morning Breakfast and Tea
Lunch for Sunday

Identity Proof
A Bottle Of Water (at least 2-3 Ltrs) (a must)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Medicines those if u require usually (Optional)
A good trekking shoes, Raincoat or wiencheater.
A haversack to put in all the things to be that one has ones hands free while trekking.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.


The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained.

Note- Please understand this is not a picnic, all Trekking and Adventure activities demand fitness. We request you to get a medical fitness check done before you participate in any such events. If suffering from any allergy carry proper medications and inform your trek leaders about it. Also make sure you have a sufficient supply of medication for your trip, building in an allowance for any travel delay. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma,bronchitis,blood pressure & heart related problems etc. that limit physical activity should not go to high altitudes.
