Whats there about Korigad:
Korigad fort is located about 20 Kms away from Lonavla, in Pune district.Shivaji Maharaj incorporated this fort in Swarajya along with Lohgad, Visapur, Tung and Tikona in 1657. On March 11, 1818, Col. Prother invaded this fort but could not succeed even after prolonged fighting.Finally he succeeded and along with this fort the British also conquered Ghangad.

Event Plan:

Meeting Point : Dadar

We will be meeting near Swami Narayan Temple (near to Dadar railway station), at 12:15 AM on Sunday 26th June, 2016.
12:30 AM: Depart from dadar to korigad
4:00 AM: Reach base for some time/ intoduction session
5:30 AM: Start climbing towards korigad...
7:00 AM: Explore Korigad and its surrounding..Enjoy the view & hv breakfast
9:00 AM: Descend to base village
11:00 AM: Proceed Back to Mumbai. Visit tiger point & lunch on the way
Reach Dadar by 6 PM (tentatively)

The cost for the trek will be INR 900/- per head, which includes, 
Travelling from Dadar to Dadar by Private NON AC Vehicle

A Bottle Of Water (at least 2-3 Ltrs) (a must)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Medicines those if u require usually (Optional)
A good trekking shoes, Raincoat or wiencheater.
A haversack to put in all the things to be that one has ones hands free while trekking.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.

The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained.
Note- Please understand this is not a picnic, all Trekking and Adventure activities demand fitness.
We request you to get a medical fitness check done before you participate in any such events. If suffering from any allergy carry proper medications and inform your
trek leaders about it. Also make sure you have a sufficient supply of medication for your trip, building in an allowance for any travel delay. Participants suffering from 
chronic conditions like asthama,bronchitis,blood pressure & heart related problems etc. that limit physical activity should not go to high altitudes.
