Tikona Fort and Pawana lake:
Tikona (also known as Vitandgad) is the dominant hill fort in Maval in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 60 km from Pune. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangle".
The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. Trek organisers also commend the views of Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur. There is Pawana lake at the summit.
6:00 AM bus from borivali till base village (breakfast on the way)
10:00 AM Reach Base village
10:15 AM start trek to Tikona Fort
12:00 PM Reach Top Explore
12:30 PM Desscend to village
1:30 PM Lunch will be served.
2:30 PM visit pawana lake and Pawana Dam
4:00 PM Leave for Mumbai.
Total Cost: 850
1. Travel by private transport from Mumbai till Tikona and back to mumbai + some refreshments on the way
2. Lunch, tea refreshments.

Things To be Carried Along with:
-> A haversack/Backpack to put in all the things to be carried so that one has hands free while walking.
-> lineup the haversack/Backpack with plastic as rains are expected.
-> Shoes/Sandals with good grip (shoes preferable)
-> Some ready to eat food.
-> Water bottle 2 Litres. (compulsary)
-> Camera with proper rain cover (optional)
-> Medicine those if you require usually.
-> Avoid jeans and prefer track pants

for his/her own safety and baggage.
