Mumbai Green Chapter would like to invite you to be a part of a lush green trek to Rajmachi. It has two forts, Shrivardhan fort and Manaranjan Fort. Historically, Rajmachi fort was a strategic fort to control Borghat (ghat between Khopoli and Khandala on Mumbai-Pune route) which was a historical trade route Rajmachi is famous trekking destination and attracts all nature and outdoor lovers. Visiting Rajmachi is one of a kind experience during rainy season.

Meeting Point : Lonavala Station

Day 1:- (13-Aug-16)

- Travel from Mumbai to Lonavala station

- Breakfast at lonavala

- Start trek to Rajmachi

- Enjoy scenery, waterfalls on the way

- Lunch at 12 PM

- Recess/Relax for some time

- Resume trekking

- Reach Rajmachi

- Reach at pre-booked house freshnup have tea

- Dinner

- Chit chat, songs, thoughts sharing

- Rest (End of day 1)

Day 2:- (14-Aug-16)

- Get ready early morning

- Breakfast n Tea

- Explore Manaranjan and Shivardhan forts,

- Visit Shiv Temple and lake at fort 

- Store the views in heart and cam.

- Return to accommodation place

- Lunch

- Start journey towards Kondivade village

- Take some good memories captured in cam too

- Reach Karjat Station “Get a final moment clicked”

 

The fees for the trek will be INR 1050 /-

 This includes:-

- Travel From Kondivade to Karjat station by tumtum (Day 2)

- Overnight Accommodation

- 2 Breakfasts

- 1 Lunch

- 1 Dinner

- First Aid

- Expertise and Guide Charges

 

Things to Carry :-

- Good Shoes/Action Trekking shoes recommended

- Water (3 Ltrs)

- Lunch (like parathas) for day one while on trek

- Torch ( with extra batteries )

- Pair of Extra Socks

- Some ready to eat stuff like biscuits

- Regular medicines if any

- A bed sheet

- Personal sanitary kit

- Good Plastic bag to put all cloths n food items dry

- Backpack to carry all things
