Trek to Peth fort
Kothaligad (also called Kotligad or Kothligad) is a small Fort (1500ft.) is situated to the east of Karjat in the Indianstate of Maharashtra. It is one of the famous treks in the Karjat area, because of its small height and easy climbing. It is also known as the Fort of Peth because of its vicinity to Peth village at its base.
Location:- Ambivali, Karjat Base village:- Peth
Difficulty level:- Easy
Date:- 7th & 8th April 2012..
Participation cost:- Rs. 220/- ( For students who have appeared 12th and 10th board exams will get discount in cost)
Participation cost includes public transportation to & fro Mumbai..
Things to be carried:- One time lunch for saturday night, bedding ( there might be cold in night), water bottle of 2 litre, torch (must), good sack, shoes, medicines if required any, energy for masti...
Keep in mind:- 1) Drinking and smoking is stictly prohibited..
2) Enjoyment is allowed but also discipline will be followed for participants safety concern..
3) Everyone will follow trek leaders orders.
Attractions:- Campfire, night trail, torch lecture, giri darshan by experts, food making experience at night if got chance, and enjoyment with group...
Only group of 50 people will be allowed..
