Bhrigu Lake is a lake located at an elevation of around 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located to the east of Rohtang Pass and is around 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) from Gulaba village. Many nature lovers around the world visit this lake. As the shores of Bhrigu Lake do not have any human settlement till date, the serene ambience of this place is an added attraction to the tourists. Lake derives its name from the great saint Brighu. As a result, people hold Bhrigu Lake to be a sacred place.

Day 1(6th June) : Receiving at Rumsu base camp. Registration, Orientation and Acclimatization.
Day 2 (7th June): Drive to Gulaba. Trek to Rohli Kholi. Camping at Rohli Kholi Base Camp (trek: 3hrs).
Day 3 (8th June) : Visit to Bhrigu Lake and descend to Rohlikohli camp site. (Trek: 5hrs).
Day 4 (9th June): Descend to Gulaba. Drive to Rumsu base camp.
Day 5(10th June) : Visit to Naggar and departure from Manali.
Day 1: Receiving at Rumsu base camp. Registration and orientation. Acclimatization walk to Pulag village in the evening. Orientation regarding the trek will be given by the chief organizer in the evening. The orientation will cover information like ruck sack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about the trek route. Overnight stay at Rumsu base camp.
Day 2 : Drive to Gulaba. Trekkers will start the trek for Rohlikohli camp site. Ascend till Rohlikohli is moderate and take around 3-4 hours to reach. There are two streams on the way to the camp site (Chor Nallah and Kohli Nallah). Rohli Kohli is a beautiful camp site and offers amazing views of Solang Valley. Overnight stay in tents at Rohli Kohli Camp Site.
Day 3 : We will start the trek early by 7 AM after breakfast for Bhrigu Lake. It takes around 3 hours to reach to Bhrigu. Packed lunch will be done at Bhrigu Lake. Care should be taken that no littering happens over here. As par the myths, Rishi Bhrigu meditated here and use to take bath in the holy water.
After lunch we will descend to Rohlikohli camp site and relax for rest of the day.
Day 4: We will start the last day trek with descend to Gulaba. The trek is easy as it has a moderate descend throughout and will take around 3-4 hours to reach Gulaba. Ride to Rumsu base camp. Bon Fire will be organized at the base camp.
Day 5: We will start the day with morning tea and breakfast for descend to Naggar. The trek route from Naggar to Rumsu resort is very informative and interesting. The trek covers many famous places like “Gowrishankar temple” 11th century old temple, Tripura sundari temple, Naggar castle and Roerich art gallery. Brunch by 12 at Naggar on your own expense. Bus Ride/Jeep Ride to Manali and departure.
How to Reach:
Step 1: Reach New Delhi via train or flight.
Step 2: Board bus from ISBT (Kashmere Gate) for Manali. You can book your tickets from
www.hrtc.gov.in or www.redbus.com
Step 3: Get down at Patlikuhal which is 26 kms after Kullu and 20 kms before Manali.
Step 4: Take a share cab/auto/local buses to reach Rumsu from Patlikuhal (12 km).
Participation and cancellation policy
Participation would be confirmed after the payment of event fees.
Last date to confirm your participation is 10th May,2016.
Cancellation Policy: 30 days prior to event 75% refund of paid amount.
15 days prior to event 50% refund of the paid amount.
There is no refund if the cancellation is after 15 days.
