Matheran is a very famous hill station and a popular weekend gets a way for the Mumbaiites. There are many different hiking routes to reach the top. The most common is one by the motorable road from Neral, which can get very monotonous. Some other routes are via Peb Fort, via one tree hill...
Sunset point is one of the most famous points of matheran. Even though a name of sunset point it gives a most scenic view of vertical series of waterfalls at morning time in rainy season.
The only hill station in Asia which is automobile free is home to end number of monsoon flora and fauna. The Malabar whistling thrush and the Malabar giant squirrel is the highlight of the place in monsoon. Get ready to have a full packed experience of trek and wildlife on one of the most eco friendly and serene beauties of maharashtra. Travel with us for the most amazing experience of this monsoon.

A detailed itinerary for the trek:
5:00 am: Report at C. S. T.
5:15 am: Depart for Panvel via Local.
6:30 am: Reach Panvel.
7:00 am: Take the S. T. bus to Dhodhani.
7:45 am: Reach the village
8:15 am: Start the trek. Wildlife photographing and birding enroute.
11:00 am: Reach the top @ Sunset Point , Explore.
12:00 pm: Nature Trail and birding through the quite dense forest of Matheran.
01:30 pm: Lunch.
03:00 pm: Proceed to dasturi.
03:45 pm: Reach taxi stand. Sharing taxi non-ac to neral.
04:31 pm: Board Train to CST
06:30 pm: Reach C. S. T. and return home with fond memories and new friends and wait for the next adventure...

Trek Fees: Rs. 900/- per participant.
All bookings will be done once the full payment is received.
-Transportations from C. S. T. to Panvel and return by train(local).
-Transfer from Panvel to Dhodhani village.
-Transfer from dasturi(matheran) to neral.

Things to be carried:
2 liter of water, (Must)
Preferably dry breakfast.

Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes
Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks
Medicine those if you require usually
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried....so that one has ones hands free while trekking. (Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.)

In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; The Tern Travellers, it’s instructors, organizers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
Any violation of the above rules will be dealt with seriously, and may involve expulsion from the trek or event, and no refund is admissible in such cases.
Adventure activity is arranged considering normal weather. In case of occurrence of any natural calamities, if event is cancelled, in such circumstances NO REFUND will be provided.
The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
The Tern Travellers reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice. No arguments will be entertained.
