        Trekगुरु invites you to the Toughest Trek of Sahyadri Alang, Madan & Kulang (AMK) on 29th Oct to 31st Oct 2016. [Starts on 28th Oct Night]

       The fort trio of Alang-Madan-Kulang is situated in Kalasubai range. This area is rich with few of the highest mountain peaks in Sahyadri. Nearby peaks recognized are Kalsubai (higest peak in Maharashtra) & Ratangad. Other nearby landmarks are Bhandardara backwaters and Igatpuri.

       The trek to Alang-Madan-Kulang is considered to be one of the toughest treks in Maharashtra. It tests your stamina, patience and mental toughness. No place for games here. The overall trek includes rock climbing, rappelling, high steeps, long walks.

                    Start travel by private vehicle

04:00 am : Reach Ambewadi (base village)


06:30 am : Wake up



07:30 am : Start the trek

                    Reach the col between Alang and Madan

                    Climb the rock patch of Madangad

                     Lunch break on Madangad top

                     Start Descending Madangad

                     Reach the col between Alang and Madan

                     Start ascending Alang fort

                     Reach the cave


                     Rest for the day


Day 2 : 30 Oct 2016

                    Explore Alang

                    Start Descending Alang fort

                    Trek towards Kulang fort

                    Lunch in the route

                    Reach the cave of Kulang fort

Day 3 : 31 Oct 2016

06:00 am : Wake up


                    Explore Kulang fort

                    Start descending Kulang fort

                    Reach Ambewadi


15:30 pm : Travel towards Kasara.

17:30 pm : Reach Kasara.

21:00 pm : Reach Mumbai
