Ganesha is the Remover of Obstacles, both of a material and spiritual order as well as The Lord of Beginnings. He is popularly worshipped at the beginning of all rituals and ceremonies. Traditionally he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked. Devotees in the Grassroutes Village of Dehna believe that if Ganesha is propitiated, he grants success, prosperity and protection against adversity. He is also the destroyer of vanity, selfishness and pride. Come celebrate the immersion of this Beloved God with the Locals of Dehna on Sunday, the 23rd of September 2012……
