Brief Introduction about PATTA Fort (VISHRAMGAD) : –

Fort Patta History –
Patta fort earlier belonged to Mughals but in year 1671,Moropant Pingle was on a mission of capturing forts in Nasik and Baglan range and thus in year 1672,Moropant Pingle was succesful to capture this fort
Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj during raid on Jalna in year 1679 rested for some time near Sangamner and unfortunately the Maratha army was seized from all sides by Mughal army and Shivaji Maharaj was ill during that time. Bahirji Naik succesfully rescued Shivaji Maharaj and took him to Patta fort. Shivaji Maharaj stayed on this fort for around 1.5 months to recover from illness(After Rajgad and Raigad,Patta is the only fort where Shivaji Maharaj stayed for this much long time)

People may board the same local from the station of their convenience and meet us in the train directly. (Get into the second boggy from CST side)

After Lunch Start Descend
Evening refreshment on the way
Reach kasara by 5pm
Mumbai time approx 7 to 8 pm
Members are requested to take return ticket till Kasara by their own. Board the second last compartment from Kasara side which is the second one from CST side. Everybody will board the same local and we can meet in the train itself.
The cost of the trek will be Rs.850/- per head

Torch With Extra Batteries (Must)
Lunch For Saturday (V-IMP )
Extra pair of socks V-imp ( we will wear it over shoes if its slippery) this gives better grip
Identity proof
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
A bottle of water (at least 2 Ltrs) Compulsory
Medicine those if you require usually
Good trekking shoes, extra pair of floaters.
A haversack to put in all the things to be that one has ones hands free while trekking.
Pleases do not carry Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Jewelry
Double pack your valuables in plastic bags.
No Smoking, tobacco and alcohol
Be a group - its not a race

The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
Note- Please understand this ain’t a picnic, all Trekking and Adventure activities demand fitness. We request you to get a medical fitness check done before you participate in any such events. If suffering from any allergy carry proper medications and inform your trek leaders about it. Also make sure you have a sufficient supply of medication for your trip, building in an allowance for any travel delay. Those with Active Chest and Heart diseases that limit physical activity should not go to high altitudes.
