Irshalgad is not a fort but actually a pinnacle. This is the reason why it hardly figures anywhere in history. Shivaji Maharaj captured the complete region of Kalyan and Bhiwandi, up to Rairi in May 1666. This fort too, must have come under the Maratha rule at that time. Irshalgad is a fortress located between Matheran and Panvel in Maharashtra, India. It is a sister fort to Prabalgad. The area of the fort is not large but there are several water cisterns cut from the rock.

Move towards Base Village of IrsahalGad by private vehicle
Reach the base village by 01:15AM
Start the trek after round of introduction
Reach Irshalgad top (that is till Nedhe also called as Natural hole) by 03:00AM
***we guys wont be climbing the last rock patch to the top of the fort

Start descend by 04:30AM
Spend some time at Morbe Dam, have breakfast and move to Karjat station by 07:30 AM
Reach Karjat station by 08:30 AM

Things To Be carried:

A bottle of water (atleast 2.5 Ltrs) Compulsory

A good trekking shoes, extra pair of flotters.
A haversack to put in all the things to be that one has ones hands free while trekking.
