It's time to take break from our day-to-day hectic schedule, especially at the end of another financial year. Everybody has different hobbies like photography, adventure, being in nature etc. Hence, most of us found a common solution to it and it is this trekking through the ancient & fierce rocks of Sahyadri Mountains and huge mountain forts depicting historical glory of Maharashtra

Trans Sahyadri Trek - 7 Feb to 13 Feb 2016

Kulangad - Madangad - Alangad - Ratangad - Katrabai Top - Ajoba - Kaladgad - Harishchandragad (covered maximum forts between Igatpuri (Nasik region) and Khireshwar (Malshej Ghat region).

Oganised by "ISOLATION ZONE"

Departure from Mumbai/Pune on 7th Feb night .

Return on 13th Feb night.

Grade : Tough

Age Limit : Above 18 years

Fee : Rs 6900/- including Travelling, food, equipment, accidental insurance of 3 lakhs and expertise.

Your seat will be confirmed only after payment of 
booking amount : Rs 2000 (non refundable)
First come first served is the base.
 

Note : Heart, blood pressure and diabetic patients are not allowed.

Schedule :

7th Feb : Sunday

  • Departure from Mumbai/Pune by chartered bus at night.
8th Feb : Monday
  • Reach Ambewadi village at morning.
  • Breakfast.
  • Trek start for Kurangad with pack lunch (pl bring pack lunch for this date)
  • Reach Kulangad. Sight seeing.
  • Lunch at Kulangad.
  • Proceed to Madangad.
  • Climb 35 feet rock-wall (rope climbing)
  • Reach the top.
  • Finish the day, freshen up & enjoy the tea, with some light snacks.
  • Dinner time.
  • night stay on Madangad

9th Feb : Tuesday

  • Weak up at 6 am, Breakfast,.
  • Distribution of pack lunch.
  • Trek to Alangad.
  • Climb 45 feet rock wall of Alangad (rope climbing)
  • Lunch and sight seeing 
  • Start descending to opposite side to reach Udadhavane village
  • From Udadhavane to Samrad Village
  • Finish the day, freshen up & enjoy the tea, with some light snacks.
  • Dinner time.
  • night stay at Samrad Village.

10th Feb : Wednesday

  • Weak up at 6 am, Breakfast.
  • Distribution of pack lunch
  • Trek to Ratangad
  • Lunch and sight seeing 
  • Proceed to Katrabai Pass. 
  • Reach Katrabai Top. From here you can see the magnificent panoramic view of many forts.
  • Descend to Kumshet village.
  • Finish the day, freshen up & enjoy the tea, with some light snacks.
  • Dinner time.
  • night stay at Kumshet Village.

11th Feb : Thursday

  • Weak up at 6 am, Breakfast
  • Distribution of pack lunch
  • Trek to Ajoba peak
  • Lunch and sight seeing 
  • Return back to Kumshet. 
  • Proceed to Pethechi wadi through Mula River Valley.
  • Reach Pethechi wadi
  • Finish the day, freshen up & enjoy the tea, with some light snacks.
  • Dinner time.
  • night stay at Pethechi Wadi.

12th Feb : Friday

  • Weak up at 6 am, Breakfast
  • Trek to Kaladgad
  • Return back to Pethechi wadi for Lunch.
  • Proceed to Harishchandragad via ancient route - Bailghat.
  • reach Harishchandragad Temple
  • Finish the day, freshen up & enjoy the tea, with some light snacks.
  • Dinner time.
  • night stay at Harishchandragad.

13th Feb : Saturday

  • Weak up at 7 am, Breakfast
  • sight seeing
  • Distribution of pack lunch
  • Descending from Harishchandragad to Khireshwar
  • Enjoy in Dam water
  • Lunch break
  • Return journey will start
  • Reach Mumbai/Pune by 7 to 8 pm
 
Things to carry :
Pack lunch for Monday, comfortable Ruck sack, sleeping bag, carry mat, dish, two bowls, glass, spoon, torch with extra cells, sports shoes, 
track pants, full T-shirts, spare clothes, towel, cap/hat, sunscreen lotion, sun glasses, personal medical kit, cold cream, slippers, knife, snacks, fruits etc.
 
Rules & Instructions:
  • Keep the mountain clean & force others to do so
    • Please note that this area is under the jurisdiction of Govt of Maharashtra, Forest Department and you are bound to it's rules and regulations 
  • Leaving your garbage (empty bisleri bottles also) in jungle is not allowed. 
  • Disposable materials like Styrofoam or paper dish, glass, bowl are not allowed. Bring what you are using at your home.
  • Everyone has to follow the instructions of Camp In-charge & instructors 
  • No shortcut in the trek.
  • Valuable articles are not permissible. We accept no responsibility for anything that is misplaced.
  • Smoking and Drinking not allowed
  • You are coming for this trek on your own risk
Important Notice : "ISOLATION ZONE"  takes every care for the safety of the participants during the trekking expedition. However, "ISOLATION ZONE" should not be held responsible in the event of any mishap and accident. Every participants will be insured for Rs 3,00,000/=.
