T3WR - GIR LION Safari 2016 (02nd December To 06th December 2016)

ITINERARY:

GIR NATIONAL PARK is the last remaining bastion of the Asiatic Lion. It also has the highest population of leopards compared to any other national park in India making it one of the best place in India to see the Big Cats. The Kameshwar Dam in middle of the sanctuary is home to record population of marsh crocodiles. Other wild life includes Chital (spotted dear), Nilgai (Blue Bull), Wild Boar, Sambar, Jackals, Hyenas, etc. Gir national park has over 300 different varieties of birds. The unique ecosystem of gir harbors about 38 species of mammals, around 37 species of reptiles & more than 2000 species of insects. 

DAY 1 - 02nd December 2016 : Friday

We Board Train from Bandra Terminus at 05.35 pm & reach Rajkot railway station next day at 07.27 Am.(Dinner provided on board)

DAY 2 -- 03rd December 2016: Saturday

Afternoon Check in at our lavish property in core Jungle zone relax till evening & post dinner camp Fire & enjoy special south African Tribal Dance by African tribes who stay in sasan village from past 300 years.

DAY 3-- 04th December 2016 : Sunday

After Breakfast Bird watching session, u can find around 300 spices of birds, 37 spices of reptiles & more than 2000 spices of insects. Then leave for open gypsy lion safari @ gir national park 09.00 am to 12.00 pm. post safari back to camps we have our lunch & leave to visit Somnath Temple. It is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of the god Shiva. (BF/LUNCH/DINNER)

DAY 4-- 05th December 2016 : Monday

We go for early Morning open gypsy jungle safari @ gir national park 06.00 am to 09.00 am. post safari we have our breakfast and free time. Evening we go for another jungle safari and come back to camps. (BF/LUNCH/DINNER)

DAY 5-- 06th December 2016 : Tuesday

After Breakfast leave for Rajkot Railway station we have our lunch on the way and board train at 03.20 pm & reach Bandra Terminus next day at 05.40 am.
(Dinner provided on board)
