TREK TO THE FIRST CAPITAL OF SWARAJYA AND ADJOINING PRACHANDGAD

A.K.A  RAJGAD To TORNA Trek.

After calculating all the permutations and combinations, it has been decided that we will be going to the First capital of SWARJYA and the adjoining PRACHANDGAD…yes we are talking about RAJGAD and TORNA…

Rajgad and Torna occupy an unchallengeable position and are unconquerable thus facilitating Shivaji Maharaj wide scope to expand boundaries of Swarajya.
A very tall fort which justifies its position and excellence amongst all. Its huge size covers a diameter of almost 24 miles at its base. One cannot imagine its hugeness and strength. It is believed that only wind can roam around and water can pass through the thick forest surrounding the fort. Else, it is very difficult for anybody to pass through the thick jungles.
The height and size of Rajgad is so great that the hearts of enemies repress from its greatness. The absolute science that was used in its construction…the strategic awareness and thinking that was put behind the construction of this fort is just mind-boggling…the engineering marvel sometimes make us think…WERE THE MAVLAS MORE ADVANCED THAN US…
Torna…or PRACHANDGAD…the word says it all…the largest fort in Maharashtra in terms of surface area…the vast expanse in which this fort is spread…just makes us think…can there be anything more big than this…if the thought itself is so PRACHAND…just think about the application of mind of SHIVAJI MAHARAJ to manage these forts…
This can only be done by witnessing, experiencing and exploring in person…and no better opportunity than a trek with buddies…

After long discussions for a short while…it is decided that we will be going for a trek to Rajgad-Torna…which includes the tiring hike from Rajgad to Torna through dense forests…
