#About Fort:
The Harishchandragad is quite ancient. Its origin is said to have been in 6th century, during the rule of Kalchuri dynasty. The various caves probably have been carved out in the 11th century. In these caves are idols of Lord Vishnu. The various constructions on the fort and those existing the surrounding region point to the existence of diverse cultures herei. Marathas Took over Fort from Mughals in 1747. (It’s a dream trek for all the trekkers)
Places to See: Taramati Peak, Kalsubai Peak, Kedareshwar cave, Kokankada(massive cliff),Naneghat,Bhairavgad etc.

5.00 am - Reach base village
5.30 am- Freshen-up & breakfast
7.00 am - Start ascending.
Lunch break while ascending,
2.30 Pm- Reach on top & Explore the fort
5.00 pm- Snack
8.30 pm- Dinner & camp fire

7-8.00 am- wake up, call & freshen up & breakfast
8-10.00 am- Explore the fort
10.00 am - start descending
4.00 pm- reach at base village & Snacks
4.30 pm- start return journey towards Mumbai.
