Governal Hill is the most frequented place by tourists. Governor’s hill is known as Table Point as well as Townview Point
The Governor hill is a place to capture the sun going down the valley
Gira Waterfalls are a beautiful seasonal cascade situated in a verdant setting, about 50 km away from Saputara.
This waterfall is formed by the watercourse of the Gira River after it falls from 75 feet high cliff.
The water spills over the cliff at a very high speed, which creates conditions similar to dense fog.
Sunrise Point, also known as the Valley View Point, is a famous sightseeing spot in the hill station of Saputara.
This point is known for the splendid view at the time of sunrise, when the clear morning lights up in a beautiful orange hue.
Echo Point is a famous vantage point and picnic haunt in Saputara, which attracts a horde of locals as well as tourists.
As the name suggests, visitors coming to this place can hear the echo of their voice. This viewpoint offers a splendid vista of the surrounding landscape, which is made of gurgling waterfalls and abundant verdure. With its scenic location this viewpoint makes for a peaceful getaway in Saputara.
Sunset Point is located on the Sunset Point Road, near Saputara Museum. Popularly known as Gandhi Shikhar or peak,
this point is located at a distance of 1.7 km from the town. It provides a beautiful view of the sunset, along with the
Dang Forest and various tribal villages in the vicinity. Tourists can also reach this point within 10 minutes by using Ropeway. Although the point can be visited by tourists all around the year, the most opportune time is from the month
of March to November. Sunset Point is located in the vicinity of famous tourist spots like the Vansda National Park and Saputara Museum.
Step Garden, located about 1.4 km from Saputara, is uniquely constructed completely on steps.
Situated on the Table Land Road, this garden comprises varieties of flowerpots, plants and exquisite wooden work.
In the centre of this garden, forest huts are placed for the tourists. An open area for children to play around can also be seen inside the park. This garden is visited during the months from March to April and July to August.
Rose Garden is a small flower garden near Saputara. Its best visited in Winter and early Summer.

Lake Garden is situated along the banks of Saputara Lake and is one the prime picnic spots of Saputara.
Popularly also called as the Lake View Garden, it is a well-maintained garden comprising various kinds of plants and
rare species of trees. A playground for children is also present within the complex of the garden. The garden is at its
full bloom during the months of March to April and July to August.
The population of the Dangs, where Saputara is located, is 90% adivasi. This museum will give you an introduction
to the lifestyle, costumes, heritage and ecology of the tribal Dangs. Although the presentation lacks character,
it is worth visiting to learn about many major forms of tribal expression such as a stone funerary column,
grass ornaments, stuffed birds, woodcarving, clay ritual objects, body tattoos, and masks used in dance-dramas, and musical instruments. Use it as an opportunity to educate yourself about the local culture before venturing
into it in a less mediated way. After the first round of information, you should feel ready to learn more in person.
