About the Tour:
A small hill station in the heart of Western Ghats, Bhandardara is located in Ahmednagar district. The Wilson Dam (also known as Bhandardara dam) and Pristine Arthur Lake is nature gift to Bhandardara. Monsoon is the best freak out season to visit here to explore gushing and stunning view of the Majestic Waterfalls like Umbrella waterfall, Randha Waterfall and Necklace Waterfall etc. The next worth visiting place is the Valley of Shadows-Sandhan Valley. Exploring Sandhan valley in monsoon is totally a different experience and like sweet cherry on the cake. Amruteshwar Temple, an Hemadpanti style temple makes one speechless with its graceful carvings and the archaeological & mythological stories. Valley of Shadows-Sandhan Valley and Kokankada and Reverse Waterfalls Stay in an eco-village “Samrad” which is completely nomadic with the very basic facilities like stay and homely meals.
Wilson Dam and Umbrella Waterfalls – Built in 1910 and is one of the oldest Dam in the country. Tourist can wander around in the garden, which is located at the base of the Dam. Randha Falls and Nanhe Waterfalls – The loud River Pravara descends down from a height of 170 ft. and turns itself into a beautiful waterfall. Mesmerizing view of the Pristine Arthur Lake
Lake Arthur Hill
This lake is situated in lush green forest and one of the major tourists attractions at Bhandardara for one day picnic. This lake is formed by the water from Pravara River. This lake was built in 1910 and also known as Bhandardara Lake.
Randha Falls is third largest falls in India and many tourists visiting Bhandardara visits this fall. This fall is around 11 km away from Wilson Dam. The water from this fall used for generating hydro-power.
Umbrella falls located below the Wilson Dam and is a beautiful tourists spot at Bhandardara. In mansoon season when the water level of the lake rises it create a beautiful waterfall and this is the time you can enjoy the beauty of this fall.
Bhandardara Dam (Wilson Dam)
Bhandardara Dam in Maharashtra is also known as Wilson Dam which was constructed in 1910 alongside the Bhandardara Lake. This is one of the best place for one day picnic at Bhandardara.
This temple dates back to 1100 AD. Built in a distinct Hemadpanti style, the intricately carved temple still stands proud. Other places worth visiting are Konkan Kada (another trekker's delight), a small garden and a swimming tank.

Day 01 (Saturday) :
Meeting at Kasara Railway Station @ 9:15 Will Start Journey after breakfast towards Samrad Village (Base Village of Sandhan Valley, Ratangad ) by pvt. Vehicle will reach Samrad by lunch time. Freshen-up and Lunch. Proceed to Valley of Shadows -Sandhan Valley. Enjoy a small trail to the mouth of valley and scenic monsoon view. Visit Ghatghar Kokankada (do not confuse with hharschandragad kokankada), enjoy the Reverse waterfall. Freshen-up and enjoy bhajiyas and hot tea. Enjoy night session of games and fun in the chilling night. Lights off for the Sleep.
Day 02 (Sunday) :
Early morning wake up call. Freshen up and after breakfast we will visit Amruteshwar Temple in Ratanwadi. Proceed to Bhandardara Dam and Umbrella Waterfalls. Visit the sparkling water reservoir Arthur Lake and series of Waterfalls like Randha waterfalls return back to kasara evening Tour concludes with the Happy Moments :)
