Dalhousie Snow Trekking 

Dalhousie is the very beautiful Hill Station in Himachal Pradesh. It has also honeymooner’s paradise. Dalhousie is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie established in 1854 by the British Empire's government in India as a summer retreat for its troops and officials. Spectacular snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountains are also visible from this enchanting town. Dalhousie was popular with the British Army personnel in 1860's

Dalhousie is a gateway to the ancient Chamba Hill State, now Chamba District of the Himachal Pradesh, India. It is built on and around five hills, Kathalagh , Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Bhangora. It is Located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas, it is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie is situated between 6,000 and 9,000 feet (2,700 m) above sea level. The best time to visit is in the summer, and the peak tourist season is from May to September. Scottish and Victorian architecture are prevalent in the bungalows and churches in the town. In Winter considered to be the best time to visit Dalhousie if you like the cold and January is best to enjoy the chilly pleasure of fresh snowfall . The temperature drops down below zero degrees Celsius. Dalhousie, being a beautiful tourist spot, plays an important role in the economy of the state. The major industry is tourism. While Dalhousie has a large number of hotels to accommodate the visiting tourists, the town also offers several non-hotel stays like independent villas and bungalows, which offer an alternative to typical hotels.There are various traditional bags, shawls, and handicrafts you can choose from. Mystic boat cruise is another way of exploring the beautiful hill station..Gandhi Chowk is the main shopping areas here. Tourists can find good, traditional bags, dolls, handicrafts, and purses. At some emporiums you will find fairly priced shawls.

Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India )Khajjiar is a popular hill station about 26 km from Dalhousie. It is known as” Mini Switzerland of India “.
Khajjiar is situated at a height of 6500 feet and bestowed with natural beauty and pleasant climate. Vast expanse of green meadows and dense forests besides vistas of majestic snow-clad Himalayan peaks make Khajjiar a popular destination among tourists. Khajjiar explore many adventure activity like Para gliding,Horse Riding, Trekking, Zorbing etc during April and May.

Dainkund Peak: Dainkund Peak is the highest mountain peak in Dalhousie.It is located at a an elevation of 2755 meters above the sea level and 10 km from Dalhousie, This place has a scenical charm and the picturesque view of the surroundings will exactly take your breath away.The sweet sound of the calm or a pleasing breeze blowing through the trees makes a musical serenade makes Dainkund famously known as the singing hill. An Air Force base in India in peak Dainkund and turn left from there is the Pholani Devi Temple which is the major attraction here.

 Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary : Kalatop is the high altitude village of the Kalatop Wildlife Reserve are located at an average elevation of 2,500 meters above sea level. The forests are also known as Kalatop Kajjiar Sanctuary and are situated between the thick pine, deodar and oak forests. The Kalatop Kajjiar Sanctuary covers an area of 30.69 square kilometers and houses a plethora of various fauna such as the Himalayan Black bear, Pheasants and Himalayan black marten etc.

Day 1:- Reporting at Dalhousie.Base

Day 2:- Free Day for Acclimatization, local sightseeing.

Day 3:- Trek from Dalhousie to Kalatop (12 km) Night stay at Kalatop.

Day 4:- Trek to Dainkund & Back ,Night stay at Kalatop(14 km).

Day 5:-Trek to Khajjiar and Back to Dalhousie. Night stay at Dalhousie.

Day 6:- Early morning trek concludes with happy memories


During the Camp Days, We will served hygienic vegetarian food (Gujarati/Jain) and We will not provide food during Travelling time. 

For our Camping purpose , Participant will stay in Alpine Tent /Room will be shared by 3 to 4 participants. Separate tents/Room will be given to boys and girls.

Travelling from Mumbai to Pathankot by Train with Sleeper Coach and Pathankot to Dalhousie by Bus/Winger/Tempo Traveller.

Cancellation Policy:

For Cancellation, if you inform us,

Less than 5 days prior: No refund
Less than 10 days prior: 50% of the total event costs would be deducted. 
Less than 20 days prior: 25% of the total event costs would be deducted.

Instruction for participants:

Separate tents for Male and female.
Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited.
Buying drugs or any illegal material is strictly prohibited; the participant will be detained and handed over to government authority.
Instructions from Guide/Camp Leader should be strictly followed.
Any Misbehave during Event will lead to cancellation of the participant & participant may be 
ordered to leave the campsite/Hotel at any time.
Accommodation is based on sharing basis .As per the situation, Accommodation may varies and Participants need to cooperate with Participants/Instructors.
Participants have to keep the Camp site area/Rooms/Tents neat and clean.
Participants not allowed to leave the Camp site /Hotel without any permission from the Camp Leader
For participants it’s mandatory to bring any Original Identity Proof (PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving license, Voters Identity card)

please notes that this is an environment friendly outing. Do not litter any wrappers (please take it back to your home for disposal) or spoil the place in any way.

Alcohol, drugs or narcotics, firearms and gambling on the Trek, smoking, entry to the area set aside for use by the opposite sex, offensive behavior which may lead to expulsion from the Trek

organiser have reserves the right to withdraw and or make any alterations that they may deem advisable for the convenience and the best interests of tour.

Extensive and painstaking preparations have gone into planning of this tour for your safety. While every care has been taken to ensure safety, organisers cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities.

It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for tour. While planning your trip, it is preferable to have a medical fitness check up done. If suffering from any kind of allergy or ailment, do carry proper prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, sever headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc. should seek their physician’s advice before coming.

2) Avoid to bring valuable things like gold or any jewelry or High value mobile phones Etc.

3) Trek/camp leader's decision will be final and binding.

4) Organisers reserve the right to make changes or cancelled to their programs at any point of time without prior notification 

5) This camping not a leisure trip so one needs to be prepare themselves accordingly.
