Peth is situated in Shahapur taluka, Karjat district. Hight of this fort is 3100 ft above sea level. This fort is also known as Kothaligad because of the internally excavated stairs at the fort top. History : This fort is very small in size but was used as an ammunition storage and defense station during Sambhaji Maharaj’s era. This fort is surrounded with other forts like Bhimashankar, Rajmachi, Dhak, Sidhhagad and Prabalgad.

Meeting at Neral station 9.30 pm .

Catch karjat fast local 7:55 from cst Or from the station of your choice Get down at Neral Station.

Itinerary :
Catch local train
07:55 from cst Or from the station of your choice Get down at Neral Station.
On arrival at Neral we will proceed towards Ambavali village in Jeep OR Tumtum.
11.00 Introduction round and start ascend, Enjoy the glowing fireflies while ascending till Pethwadi.
Please carry Dinner packed to eat from home.
Take rest for a while then start trekking towards top of kothligad .
After some happening photography session on the top of pinnacle,
Start Descend.
Reach base village have Breakfast And Tea at villagers house around 8.30
10.00 Back to neral station.
11.30 Reach Mumbai.

Expenses for the Trek is 650/- per person….
In clu des:
Transportation from Neral to Neral by private jeep.
Sunday morning Tea, Breakfast and Refreshments.
Guide & Mumbairangers Expertise Charges,
First Aid

Things to be carried:

A bottle of water (Atleast 2 Ltrs),
(A Must) Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
Sleeping Bags / Mat, Bedding
Torch with spare batteries ( A must)
Good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
