NaturalisT Foundation organises Monsoon Mist trek to Rajmachi.

NaturalisT Foundation has arranged a Monsoon Special Trek on the occasion of Independence Day to Rajmachi and Kondana Cave on Monday – Tuesday, 14th - 15th Aug 2017.
Rajmachi is a place located north to Lonavala. It’s a fun and adventurous walk of 18 km from Lonavala to Rajmachi.
At Rajmachi- Shrivardhan and Manaranjan can also be considered as two separate forts as both are separated by a small plateau. This plateau beholds a very beautiful temple of 'Bhairoba'. Shrivardhan is 'Bale Killa' of Rajmachi and is almost of 3000 feet in altitude. This fort was of prime importance because it was built to keep watch on Konkan area.
Manaranjan Fort which is on other side and is 2700 feet high. Manaranjan Fort is composed of strong walls, 3 doors, and many water tanks. One can see Ulhas River, Duke's nose (Nagphani), Karnala, Matheran, Mahuli, and Bhimashankar etc. The way to the fort is long but gives a magnificent view of Sahyadri ranges.
