Dear Friends we invite you all for Trek to Kulang Fort on 13 Dec 2015 Leaving sat night 12 dec

 

Kulang is a fort Situated in Kalsubai range adjescent to Madangad and last fort in the ridge on west side. This is a fort with the highest climb. 

You have to traverse at three different levels in order to reach the top. This fort has a huge expanse and offers amazing views of Alang, Madan and Kalsubai,

12 dec sat Night:

 

We start from Mumbai by Kasara local (timings given below) will reach Kasara by 01.18 am.

 

 

13 dec Sunday:

 

Travel till Ambewadi by Private jeeps till 3.30am 

Refresh and tea

Start trek by 5.00

Climb the fort till 10.30

Lunch

Rest for some time

Explore

start descending by 1.00

Reach base by 5.00

Reach Kasara by 7.00 pm approx.

Reach Mumbai by 9.00 pm Approx

 

 

Expenses for the Trek is 950/- per person

Travel expenditure from Kasara to Kasara, Saturday : Breakfast & Dinner Sunday : Breakfast, Lunch & Evening Refreshments Kindly carry lunch for Saturday.

This is a slow local, the timetable shows only the main stations on the central line. Pls reach the stations around 10 mins earlier, as missing this local 

will mean missing the trek..

Things To Be carried:

Lunch for Sunday

A bottle of water (Atleast 2 Ltrs),

TORCH with extra batteries, (compulsory).

2-3 bunch of papers and proper bedding.

Camera(Optional)

Cap, etc.,

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.

Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)

Good trekking shoes,

 

 

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

 

Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited.

Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories”

The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.

Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care.

The club will not be responsible for injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.

 or ailment, please bring prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, sever headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia.

 Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc should Take permission from their physicians

 before treks.
