Mask Group: Trek to Harihar (Harshgad) on 21st Feb 2016

Fort info:

Harihar fort is one of the few forts where the access route was not destroyed by the British after they conquered the fort. The primary reason for this being the spectacular rock-cut steps at a 75-80 degree incline and the mesmerizing overhang gallery. The fort is a triangular massif with vertical cliffs on all three sides. The fort, along with the neighbouring Basgad, Anjaner and Trimbak, guards the Trimbakeshwar region which is an important holy place.
