About the Bhimashankar Bike Ride : 

Bhimashankar is an ancient as well as famous temple in western ghats of Maharashtra. It is one of the twelve Jyortilingas situated all over India. Bhimashankar is also declared as a Wild Life Sanctuary due to its dense forest and rich biodiversity. Besides Temple one can also see mighty range of Sahyadri, experience jungle and chilled weather in rainy season as well as in winters. In short a perfect destination so spend a weekend away from city life.

Day 1 (Saturday) :

Early morning meet up at Kalamboli Circle (McDonald’s) by 06:00 am. Instruction and Introduction session.

Start ride towards Bhimashankar by NH4 (Old Mumbai – Pune Highway). Breakfast en-route. Lunch upon arrival. Evening visit Gupt Bhimashankar and surrounding forest. Overnight at Bhimashankar.


Day 2 (Sunday) :

Early morning visit Nagfani Point. Post breakfast, start-riding towards Junnar. Visit Shivneri Fort. Post lunch start riding towards Mumbai via Malshej Ghat route.

1. Riding order: Two by Two Formations. Single file leader ahead formation

2. Road Rules to be decided by group leaders

3. 4-5 riders per leader

4. No competition between riders or other vehicles; stay focused on the road.

5. No breaking away from the pack

7. No wrong side riding or overtaking
