Outing Schedule :-

 

 

Day 01 -19th November 2015 : Arrival at the City of the Lakes.

Arrival at Udaipur (City of the Lake) Welcome to splendor of Rajasthan ‘City of Lakes’ Udaipur ( 04:00 pm ). An arrival transfer is arranged for you. Reaching your centrally-located Hotel you have time to relax. After a break we head out to explore India’s architectural marvel ‘Udaipur City Palace’. By 7 pm get ready to be dazzled again by ‘The Mewar Sound and Light Show’ Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular extravaganza, conducted every evening at the magnificent Manek Chowk in The City Palace. Overnight at Udaipur.

 

 

Day 02 – 20th November 2015 : Udaipur to the Jodhpur (269 kms)

Early Morning we hit the road and head north to ‘Sun City’ or ‘Blue City’ Jodhpur enjoying beautiful countryside to amaze you. Reaching Jodhpur hop on to your cosy ,comfortable & backpackers friendly Hostel and get set go! First the Mighty Mehrangrah Fort a magnificent spectacle and an architectural masterpiece Of India still run by the Jodhpur royal family Enjoy the bird’s eye view of the entire city of Jodhpur. Next visit marble marvel Jaswant Thada just to the left to the fort which is another masterpiece of a Rajputana style of architecture. Later you are free to dive deep into the heart of Jodhpur to discover the lesser known treasures of this enchanting city . Peep into the life of locals, Meet and interact with city’s residents, wander through narrow alleyways dotted with Indigo colored houses or spend some time lounging and shopping at the quaint street near Clock tower (Ghanta Ghar ) and Local Market relishing mouth-watering local food. Evening head back to our welcoming homestay (Hostel).

 

 

Day 03 – 21st November 2015 : Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (285 kms)

Morning experience the royalty visiting Grand Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum. Later bid adieu to Jodhpur & proceed by road to ‘Golden City’ Jaisalmer Once a sleepy desert city, Situated amid picturesque Thar Desert, close to Indo-Pak Border now transformed itself into a major tourist hub of India. Reaching Jaisalmer be comfortable at hotel. Evening you are free visit the nearby Gadsisar Lake a scenic rainwater lake to relax yourself . Lake is surrounded by the small temples and shrines of Amar Sagar.

 

 

Day 04- 22nd November 2015 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing+Haunted Village Kuldhara+ Desert Camping

Morning Get your cameras, taste buds and walking shoes ready…No siesta as you head right out ! We will visit one of the most renowned fort in the world Jaisalmer Fort . Perched in the heart of the Thar Desert. The fort walls provide superb views over the old city and surrounding desert dunes. About a quarter of the old city’s population still resides within the fort walls. Trust us it’s fascinating to wander around this place. There is plenty to explore & capture within the fort from Jain temples dating back 12th and 15th centuries to museums, colorful shops, local houses. Also don’t miss the roof top cafés you will regret it ;)

 

It’s Haveli hopping time! first Patwon ki Haveli, Enchanting shade of gold instantly draws your attention to the intricacy of its architecture. Don’t forget to see finely carved beautiful Jharokhas (balconies) & Next is Nathmal Ji ki haveli The craftsmanship is simply out of this world. Life-size elephants carved out of yellow stones are highlights here. Followed by visit to Kuldhara ‘The Haunted Village’. Evening enjoy at the Sand Dunes with the cultural and traditional dance and Desert Camping. Overnight in the desert area.

 

 

Day 05- 23rd November 2015 : Jaisalmer to Pushkar( 460 kms)

Early Morning Start with an energizing breakfast . Embrace yourself as you hit the roads again to knock Pushar Mela off your bucketlist. Pushkar should not be missed if you are backpacking across Rajasthan during Mela. It is indeed every Traveller & Photographers paradise. There is lot in store waiting for you explore at this World’s Largest Cattle Fair. Mela Ground host numerous activity from Horse & Camel race to moustache competitions! Dunes outside of Pushkar are a sight (and a smell) to behold when the cameleers come to town. A spin on a Ferris wheel for a view over the vast expanse of camels on Dunes is must . Experience the Maha-Arti Vara Ghat of Pushkar Lake & temple Dance at Rangji Temple. How about Midnight walk to the Pushkar Fair ?!

 

 

 

Day 06 – 24th November 2015 : Pushkar Festival +Ajmer Dargah

This Morning we attend Closing and Prize distribution ceremony. Followed by Cultural Programme, Folk Artists & Camel Parade, Cattle Show, Horse Race, Camel Race, Tug of War, Jalebi Race, Water Pot Race etc.. Post Lunch we pay visit to renowned Ajmer Sharif Dargah, shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz . Venerated by both Hindus and Muslims, it is the tomb of Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti. Overnight at Pushkar

 

 

 

Day 07- 25th November 2015 : Pushkar to Jaipur (145 kms) : Solo Travelling Day

Welcome to Pink City Jaipur! Explore City Palace & Museum, Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and )more… on foot or Old Tuk-Tuk!! (It’s fun riding it :D) Over night Jaipur.

Day 08- 26th November 2015 : Today you are free !

Evening drop is arranged for you to Jaipur Station. Be ready to tell backpacking stories as you head back home ;)

1. If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

2. If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded
