Dear Friends we invite you all for Trek to Kulang Fort on 31st Jan and 1st Feb 2015. (Leaving Friday night) 30th Jan 2015.
Kulang is a fort Situated in Kalsubai range adjescent to Madangad and last fort in the ridge on west side. This is a fort with the highest climb. You have to traverse at three different levels in order to reach the top. This fort has a huge expanse and offers amazing views of Alang, Madan and Kalsubai, Ratangad along with Bhandardara dam

The plans will be as follows:
30th Jan 2015, Friday Night:
We start from Mumbai by last Kasara local (timings given below) to reach Kasara by 3 am.
31st Jan 2015, Saturday:
Travel till Ambewadi by local jeeps till 5am on Saturday.
Start trek by 6.30
Climb the fort till 1.30 pm
Rest for some time
Explore till Evening
Dinner & stay in the caves.( We will prepare food atop).
1st Feb 2015, Sunday:
Watch the sunrise, explore the remaining fort, breakfast & start descending by 08:30 am.
Have our lunch in Ambewadi.
Reach Kasara by 5 pm approx.
Expenses for the Trek is 1000/- per person
Travel expenditure from Kasara to Kasara, Saturday : Breakfast & Dinner Sunday : Breakfast, Lunch & Evening Refreshments Kindly carry lunch for Saturday.

This is a slow local, the timetable shows only the main stations on the central line. Pls reach the stations around 10 mins earlier, as missing this local will mean missing the trek..

Things To Be carried:
Lunch for Saturday,
A bottle of water (Atleast 2 Ltrs),
TORCH with extra batteries, Candles (compulsory).
A spoon, mug and a plate (a must)
2-3 bunch of papers and proper bedding.
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
Good trekking shoes,
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited.
Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories”
The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care.
The club will not be responsible for injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.
