This course is aimed at beginners and amateur photographers who wish to learn basics of the art and craft of photography. With the advent of digital photography and lot of camera/lens options available in the market at affordable prices, one needs to have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of photography. After attending this course you can make a smarter and knowledgeable choice of buying your next camera or lenses. Intelligent use of simplest equipment is better than an unknowledgeable use of advanced equipment!
Further tips will also be given to make good compositions, exposures and the thought process behind making good images.
About Kedar Bhat: Physics graduate academically, photography is Kedar's hobby turned profession. Starting with Astro-photography, his interest in photography keeps shuffling from editorial, nature-wildlife, macro, Interior/Architectural and travel photography.
Kedar has been been freelancing throughout his career except in 2006-07 when he joined Outlook group of publications for a very short time.
Kedar is a award winning photographer whose work has appeared various national / international Publications. He has been a judge at various prestigious photography competitions organized by MTDC, Better-Photography magazine etc. He is a visiting faculty at Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Photography. Types of cameras Using various modes on your camera Types of lenses – Understanding specifications of various kinds of lenses and specialty lenses for different kinds of photography Flash – How to get good photos using a flash Effective use of white balance, iso, focusing modes, shutter speeds, apertures etc Accessories – Use of tripods, filters and other accessories to enhance photography Composition – Your images might be technically correct but they also have to be aesthetically pleasing for viewers to appreciate Basic post processing
