Dear Friends we invite you all for Bike Ride to GanpatiPule with MumbaiRangers on 1 and 2 Oct 2016

 

Ganapatipule is approximately 375 km. south of Mumbai, along the Konkan Coast

The 400-year-old Ganpati idol at Ganpatipule is said to have sprung up from the soil. This deity faces the west, so as to guard the western gates, 

unlike deities in other Indian temples who face the east. 

The temple of Swayambhu (self-originated) Ganesh is much frequented by thousands every year. The God is considered to be the Paschim Dwarpalak

Malgund, a small village 1 km away from Ganpatipule, is known as the birthplace of the famous Marathi poet Keshavasuta

Resting on a cliff, at the entrance of the Sangameshwar river, just 35 km from Ganapatipule, is Jaigad Fort

later visit ganpatipule temple and beach 

Exploration of surrounding place .

Next day:

Breakfast

Ride till ratnadurg fort 

explore surrounding areas photography.

Lunch on the way

Ride back to mumbai till 8 or 9 pm.

 

Total ride is 750 kms.

 

Mumbai rangers Bike ride is on Actual basis Which means expenses will be divided amoung all members, coleaders & leaders as well for the Ride.

 

Expertise charges will be INR 400 for the Ride.

 

Total Expected expenses INR 2200 for the event per person.( excluding petrol & maintaince charges).

 

So While registration you pay INR 400 per Head only.

 

Petrol and Maintenance cost is settled by the bike owner and the person accompanying him/her.

In case, of a single rider, the petrol and maintenance charges has to be paid by rider alone.

 

(Mumbai rangers will provide info about a willing participant who can accompany you,

and share the expenses. This depends on availability of such willing participants.

Important Points to keep in mind

1 The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.

2 Participants or Members are responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.

3 Please do not wear any jewellry.

4 Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.

 

Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited. Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, 

“When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories” The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. 

No Arguments will be entertained. Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost 

caution and care. The club will not be responsible for injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.

 

Medical Disclaimer: It’s Important to be fit before going for Treks. It is Important to have a medical fitness check-up done. If suffering from any allergy

or ailment, please bring prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, severe headache, cough, dehydration and Hypothermia. 

Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc. should take permission from their physicians 

before treks.
