We @ Bhramanti365 has arranged Bike Ride / Car Drive Tour to Velas Beach & Turtle festival on 12th & 13th March 2016 (Leaving on Friday Night ie 11th March 2016)

Brief information about the Place that will be visited :- 

1. Velas Beach - Turtle Festival visit.
2. Bankot Fort.
3. Harihareshwar Temple and Harihareshwar Beach.

Velas Village and Velas Beach :- Velas is a village in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. It is noted as a birthplace of Nana Phadnis. He was sachiva- a secretary in Peshawai in Pune, he was one of the great prominent personalities in Maratha kingdom and maratha history. Due to the sea-shore Velas is famous for its natural beauty of seashore and the surrounding nature, A statue of Nana Phadnis is present outside his house. Velas is also one of the popular breeding sites of Olive Ridley turtles, which is an endangered species of sea - turtle. The hatchlings are headed to the shore twice in a day ( with Favourable climatic Conditions only ) 

Bankot Fort:-

Height : 151 Feet above Sea level.

Bankot is a fort located in Mandangad - Near Velas, It was made part of the Bombay Presidency in 1756, This was the first residency of the British Raj in Southern Konkan,The name Bankot is derived from "Bavanna Kot" a Marathi phrase meaning fifty-two forts. Shivaji Maharaj captured this tiny fort and added it to Swarajya, which was the fifty second fort and hence the name "Ban Kot". It is a coastal area on the Arabian Sea with attractive beaches, Bankot is a nice place to visit in any season. The temperatures range from a minimum of 20°C and can go up to around the 34°C max.

Fort Exploration and Photograph Time.
Lunch at Velas (Only Veg Food) 
Rest time
Evening Tea & Visit velas beach @ evening, Turtles Heading to the seashore (If Turtles are visible in the first visit then the plan shall be different )
Reaching Harihareshwar / Shrivardhan beach (crossing Veshvi - Bagmandala creek by ferry boat ) 
Dinner to be cooked together and stay will be in the tents at Harihareshwar or Shrivardhan beach side in the Tents

Harihareshwar Temple visit, Visit 2 Harihareshwar Beach
01:00 PM : Lunch @ Harihareshwar ( If possible we will cook or we will have our food on our own expenses in the hotels)
03:00 PM : Off to Mumbai.

We will be in mumbai ( Dadar ) at around 09:30 PM ( thats - Tentative )

The expenditure for Tour is about Rs.550/ - per head (with beach side Tent accommodation) 

People who are unable to join if they dont have car or bike then can inform us in advance so that we can arrange the transport for them by sharing the fuel expenses 

Inclusions :- Tent Accommodation, Basic First Aid , Entry Fees at Velas and Guidance Charges 

Exclusions :- Food Charges if any (Food Charges will be distributed equally among all the participants) , Medical emergency if any , Medical Evacuation , Ferry charges at Bagmandla, Soft Drinks, and anything apart from the Inclusions. 

Seats will be first come 1st basis ... Maximum Seats 25 only

Note: - 

1) TURTLES hatch-lings are removed once the eggs reach to the maximum temprature and favourable conditions depending upon the nature and atmosphere there is no guarantee that the hatching can be visible on the mentioned dates.

Things To Carry:-

A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) Mandatory.
Valid License and Vehicle papers with the Rider Identification.
Cap,Good shoes, a Towel etc (a must)
Sleeping Bag / Chadar / Carry Mat ( any of these) , A Torch ( Must ) 
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Personal basic medical kit ( carry your routine medicines if any to avoid complications), also do carry sun block etc.
