Alang Fort (also Alangad) is a fort in Nashik district, Maharashtra, It is one of the three forts, the others being Madangad and Kulang, in the Kalsubai range of the Western Ghats. Alang, Madan and Kulang, the forts situated in Kalasubai range, are the most difficult forts in Nasik District. Dense forest and less population have made these treks difficult. These three forts are little neglected due to very heavy rain and difficult as well as confusing ways to go.
The A-M-K, Alang Mandan Kulang trio fort is a 3 day trek. It is a test of your confidence endurance patience vertigo laughter thrill balance physical and mental fitness. four major rock patches jungle walk rock climbing. Every treker must do this trek atleast once in his life.

After Reaching Kasara one has to gather near the Ticket Window and after the confirmation of the participants we will move ahead further in Private Vehicles
Base Village Ambewadi - Freshen Up, Breakfast and start towards Madan Fort
@ 10:30 AM - Atop Madan
@ 4:30 PM Base of Alang Fort ( Alangad).
@ 09:30 PM - Dinner , Campfire and Stay at Alang Fort ( It is a Team Activity so Dinner will be cooked after reaching into the caves ) .
End of day 1
@ 05:30 AM Wake up call at the Campsite ( Alangad Top ) , Freshen Up , Breakfast.
@ 08:30 AM – Start Descend towards ambewadi
@ 11:30 AM – Reach at the base village.
@ 02 :30 PM - Reaching Kasara ( Which is Tentative ).
Itinerary & Mandatory Things to Carry :-
Lunch For Saturday
A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) Mandatory,
Cap,Good trekking shoes (Action Trekking Preferably) , a pair of extra clothes, Torch ( with extra batteries ) and Extra Socks (a must)
Carry atleast 2 Lemons, Chocolate Bars, Glucon D, Odomos, Plate , Spoon , Mug / Cup.
Personal basic medical kit (carry your routine medicines if any to avoid complications).
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
No wearing of Gold or any other expensive Ornaments ( if Lost owns a sole Responsibility )
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits,
Bedding for the day..may be mat or sleeping bag
A haversack to put all these things.
Safety measure is to be followed on strict basis anybody not following will be discarded on the spot.
Cost :- 2000 /- per person
1. Travel by private vehicle (Kasara to Kasara)
2. 2 Breakfast, 1 Dinner and 1 Lunch
