Jog Falls is the second highest plunge waterfall in India in Sagara Taluk, Shimoga District, Karnataka. It is created by the Sharavathi River dropping 830 ft,making it second highest Plunge waterfall in India after Nohkalikai Falls with a drop of 1100 ft. in Meghalaya.
It is a segmented waterfall which, depending on Rain & season becomes Plunge waterfall. They are also known as Gersoppa Falls or Jogada Gundi & located on border of Shimoga & North Karnataka District Border.
Murdeshwar is a Town in Bhatkal Taluk in north Karnataka. Murdeshwar is another name of Lord Shiva. This Town is famous for the world’s Second Largest Shiva Statue and Murdeshwar Temple.
The temple is built on the Kanduka hills which are surrounded by three sides by Arabian Sea Water. It is dedicated to Shiva and 20 storied Gopura is constructed at the temple.
The Large Statue is 123 Feet in Height & it took about 2 years to build the same.

•Reach Jog Falls by 11.00 am & explore the place
•After Lunch, proceed to Murdeshwar Railway Station to take Matsyagandha Express @ 5.38 pm
