Detail of the fort: -

Sudhagad is one of the ancient fort in sahyadri. It was the glory of “Bhor state”. Initially, sudhagad was called as “Bhorapgad” during empire of Shivaji Maharaj. This fort was named as “Sudhagad”. It is called the replica of Raigad.

The tentative itinerary of the trek is given: -

  • Meeting point of Mumbai & Pune peoples: - Panvel Railway station @ 09:45 am on 1st august.
  • Use m-indicator or local timing.


09:55 am         Catch Diva-Roha passenger train to Nagothane.

11:45 am         Reach Nagothane station, move toward Sudhagad in private vehicle.

12:00 pm         Reach base village “Thakurwadi”, start ascending. (Lunch in route)

02:00 pm         Reach top, explore fort, rest of the day.

08:30 pm         Dinner & sleep in dormitories.

06:00 am         Wakeup call, refreshment, breakfast & tea making.

07:00 am         Start Descending.

09:00 am         Reach base village & move towards Pali, Ballaleshwar temple

10:00 am         Reach Pali, take Darshan, move towards Nagothane.

10:55 am         catch Dadar- Ratnagiri passenger train.

01:00 pm         Reach panvel station.
