Jog Falls is created by the Sharavathi River Gerosoppa Falls or Joga Falls is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India, Located in Sagara taluk,
these segmented falls are a major tourist attraction. They are also called Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi.
It is located on the Shimoga and Uttara Kannada district border.
Jog Falls is created by the Sharavathi River dropping 253 m (830 ft), making it the second-highest plunge waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls
with a drop of 335 m (1100 ft) in Meghalaya.
Sharavati, a river which rises at Ambutirtha, next to Nonabur, in the Thirthahalli taluk and takes the northwesterly course by Fatte petta, receives the
Haridravati on the right below Pattaguppe and the Yenne Hole on the left above Barangi. On arriving at the frontier it bends to the west, precipitates
itself down the Falls of Gersoppa, and passes that village (properly Geru-Sappe), which is some 29 kilometres distant, discharging into the sea at Honnavar
in North Kanara.

Leave from Jogfalls Enroute Lunch.
If Time Permits Visit Murudeshwar Temple.
Reach hubli Station Afternoon.
Catch Train from Hubli 15.45 Sunday afternoon 27 sept 2015.
Reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Early Morning 6:55 Monday 28 Sept 2015.
Tour Fees would be approximately Rs. 2450/- per Head Mumbai Participants And Pune Participants 2300/- which includes
1) To & Fro SL Class tickets from Mumbai to Mumbai Or Pune to Pune
2) Private Bus from Hubli To Jog falls And From Jog Falls to Hubli
3) Food expenses include 1 veg meals, 1 B/f-Tea, refreshments
4) MumbaiRangers Administration Charges
It won’t include food on train (i.e. Dinner on Saturday & Sunday) and any other expense of personal in nature.

Blanket as it will be cold at while travelling, Extra Clothes ,Windcheaters, Poncho, Cap, Camera (Optional) etc
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Medicine those that you require usually.
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried.(Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas.)
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
Pack your bags carefully to save them from getting wet.
Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited.
Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories”
The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care.
The club will not be responsible for injury / accident / death to the participant while on tour.
