Serolsar Lake Trek - Tirthan Valley

It is a High Altitude lake, located in the Banjar region of district Kullu. It is about (10,171ft) above sea level. This lake is surrounded by thick forest of alpine trees, meadows and snowcapped mountains.
The rugged landforms and the cool climate are apt for trekking for any amateur trekkers & nature lovers. Serolsar Lake mesmerizes the trekkers with its Crystal Clear shimmering waters reflecting the blue of the sky and the green of the oak tree.
Day 01 -
SAJWAR BASECAMP (Approx. 9500 Ft.)
Meeting Point - Our team member will greet you at bus drop point at Aut Tunnel entrance, from here you will travel in Jeep to Camp site at Sajwar Village.
All trekkers & Nature lovers welcome to Campsite (9500 feet) is located at SAJWAR VILLAGE in a very beautiful TIRTHAN VALLEY. The campsite amidst Nature of JALODA FOREST & KANSAR FOREST.
Relax today, breath in fresh air at Base camp. After fresh n up will gives information about Valley and Trek, evening we will arrange a short trek at Forest Jaloda for acclimatization.
(Driving Distance from Delhi – Approx 550 Km. and from Chandigarh – 300 Km.)
Day 02 - BASE CAMP to SHOJA (Approx 10.200 feet)
WE will head for Shoja after breakfast. The trail goes through dense alpine forest in High Mountain. You will be cheered by chirping sounds of various birds. Accompanied by various wild flowers & shrubs along the path, the sunlight plays hide & seek game, a good place for any shutterbug.

Day 03 -
SHOJA to SEROLSAR LAKE (Approx 10,800)
SHOJA to SEROLSAR LAKE through JALORI PASS. Jalori is a high mountain pass at an altitude of 10,800 feet above sea level. Situated in the KULLU. Famous for shooting sight for Bollywood. The serene ambiance rendered by mighty HIMALAYS presents unmatched opportunities to unwind the body and savour the nature's exquisite. On the way we experience an almost 360 degree view of the Himalays, Dhauladhar and Kinnaur ranges. We reach at Jalori pass, a scenic view from the top where we can realize a beauty of nature. Here we will visit KALI MATA temple. After our trail towards SEROLSAR LAKE. Walk through thick Oak trees, Blue pine, Spruce, Fir and Deodar forests. Once we reach SEROLSAR LAKE, we can see the majestic view of the holy lake, the first look of the lake was simply mind blowing, the lake which is surrounded by hills & high pine trees, the spreading of lake is as wide as a football ground. During winter the lake is totally covered by ice. Located among the tall kharshoo trees, the beautiful lake view is not less than heaven. Here we can see temple of Goddess 'BUDHI NAGIN' Mata. Budhi Nagin is the mother of 60 Nag Devatas in Himachal Pradesh.

Day 04 -
SEROLSAR LAKE to SAJWAR BASE CAMP
After having our breakfast, we proceed for BASE CAMP. The alpine scenery is impressive and some of the peaks and rock formations are unique and memorable. The trail that comes on the base camp from the lake is complete descend & goes through a dense forest, along with a beautiful shinning water stream coming from rocks to our base camp site.
At some distance we can see formation of large natural caves. The caves are so attractive that you can’t live without spending few minutes there. Local people call DWAR to the caves.
After reaching to camp get refresh & have a lunch.
Then participants pack their luggage. After evening snacks & Hi tea, participants depart to Delhi or Chandigarh with sweet memories & amazing Adventurous experience.
Walking Distance Approx. 3 Hrs.
HOW TO REACH: -
Driving Distance from Delhi – Approx 550 Km. and from Chandigarh – 300 Km. Take Volvo bus from Delhi or Chandigarh to Kullu & get down at Aut Tunnel Entrance stop. Choose bus that reaches Aut in morning around 6 am. It's overnight journey from Delhi (10 - 12 hours) & Chandigarh (6 - 7 hours approximately)
Pick up & Drop arranged from Aut to Base Camp.

♦ Normally participant expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don't want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay Rs. 600/- extra per Day per bag. Transport from source to Destination.
♦ Cost exclude due to extension/ change of the itinerary because of natural Calamities, road blocks, vehicle breakdown etc. factors beyond our control.
Caution & Remarks :
♦ Even though participants do not need to submit any health certificates those with a history of medical problems, particularly cardiac or respiratory, should consult a doctor before deciding to undertake the trip.
♦ Carry appropriate substitution drugs for individuals allergic to any of above
♦ Avoid medication such as sleeping tablets, sedatives, strong painkillers, and anti histamines which depress the respiration and increase the risk of (AMS - Active Mountain Sickness) especially while sleeping

Booking in advance will not only give you enough time for preparation but also gives you options to choose the departure dates according to your time availability. Ø You acknowledge that the photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purpose. You consent to let organisers photograph you and let them to use for publicity purpose & also consent to allow organisers to use the photograph clicked by you for publicity purpose.
Ø There is possibility of injury during activities & programs and you are aware that outdoor activities bears inborn risk of personal injury.
Ø You are joining an outdoor activity where any incident/ Natural calamity may happen & you agree that organiser shall not be held responsible for the any accident, mishap (including death) caused by any circumstances (artificial or natural).
Ø During emergency situation, your consent to any medical treatment recommended by a qualified medical practitioner (this could include inoculations, blood transfusions, surgery or the use of anaesthetic). Read *Medical Disclaimer*
Ø You realise a certain level of acceptable behaviour is mandatory to participate in outdoor programmes/ treks and that you may excluded from programmes/ treks if this level is not maintained. You acknowledge event leaders right to expel you from the group if you does not follow instruction of the leader/ misbehave. Further you consent once you are expelled from the group; organisers & leaders does not owe any kind of liability towards you.
Ø Minors aged between 14 to 16 years may accompany with their adult family members, in such case the companion family member's declaration in writing for accepting full responsibility towards them is must, along with consent in writing from their parents; submitted to Travel Buffs.
Minors aged between 16 to 18 years can join the event with their parents' consent in writing submitted to Travel Buffs.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: -
If for some reason you wish to cancel your trek/ event, an email intimation needs to be sent to "[email protected]". Cancellation requests are not taken over phone. However, you can phone to check whether your cancellation has been processed.
The cancellation charges as follows:
♦ Up to 60 days: 75% of the trek cost will be refund.
♦ Between 59 to 45 days: 50% of the trek cost will be refund.
♦ Between 44 to 30 days: 25% of the trek cost will be refund.
♦ Less than 29 days: no refund.
