The Kaas Plateau
The Kaas Plateau also known as the “Kaas Pathar” is a plateau situated in the Western Ghat Sahyadri range, 22 kilometers from Satara city in Maharashtra
state of India and is known for various types of wild flowers which bloom during August-September every year. The area of plateau is located at a height
of 1200 mt and is approximately 1,000 hectare. The name Kaas originates from Kaasa tree (Elaeocarpus glandulosus). It has been declared as Biodiversity
World Heritage Site by The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco).The plateau is home to 850 species of flowering plants, of which 624 have entered the Red Data Book, a state document that lists species whose existence is threatened. As many as 39 species are found only in Kaas region. Some of the rare species found here include Dipcadi montanum, Ceropegia vincaefolia, Pleocaulus ritchiei and Drosera burmanii. This is also the reason why the place is popular with nature lovers, flora researchers and also photographers.

Thoseghar Waterfall :
Thoseghar waterfalls is a scenic spot located near the small village of Thoseghar, 20 km from Satara city, at the edge of the Konkan region, in Western India. There are a series of waterfalls, some of them 15 to 20 metres and one of approx 200 metres in height. Heavy rain falls during that season, and because of this the falls have more water and are more spectacular. The immediate area is calm and quiet, with a clean lake and dark woods in a hilly area.

12:30 pm : Lunch Break
01:00 pm : Move to Thoseghar Waterfall, Enjoy beautiful view & photography of Thosegar Waterfall
03:00 pm : Move to Mumbai
10.00 pm : Reach Dadar
