Dear friends we at MumbaiRangers invite you all for One Day Monsoon Trek to Koraigad Lonavla on 10th Sept 2017

About Koraigad

Situated about 20 kms outside Lonavala, Koraigad fort stands little over 900m above sea level. One can easily find a flight of about 500 steps laid out
to reach the fort from Pethshahpur village in less than an hour. Another route from Ambavne village is more challenging during rains as it becomes
slippery.
The fort was named after Goddess Koraidevi. Her temple, which has recently been renovated and restored, can be visited inside the fort along with two other
temples dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva. The fort also houses couple of refreshing and usually clean ponds which are a treat to the eyes with clouds
floating by during monsoons. Such a relaxing sight!
Since it is a short trek, it leaves ample time for fun activities along the way. A pit-stop on the way will provide an exquisite view of the Aamby Valley
and the lake. Dont miss it!

Reach Base Village by 9.30
Breakfast at the Base Village
Start our trek by 10:30 am
Reach the Top, Lunch, Explore n Descend.
Reach the base till 03:30 pm.
Evening Refreshments
Start the return journey, reaching Mumbai by 08:00pm tentatively.

The cost for the trek will be INR 950/- per head,

Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics and any kind of intoxication, firearms and gambling strictly prohibited. Please do not litter, we believe in the saying,
When you go to the mountain leave only your footprints and bring back only memories The leaders decision will be final and binding on all members.
No Arguments will be entertained. Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution
and care. The club will not be responsible for injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.
