Description

The Andaman Islands are an #Indian archipelago of roughly 300 islands in the Bay of #Bengal, which are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, #mangroves and #tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting #marine life such as starfish, shrimps, sharks, #turtles etc., makes it popular #scuba diving and snorkelling sites. Aboriginal Islanders stay in the remote islands, which are restricted for travellers.

Itinerary:
Day 1, #Saturday, 
13:00 - Arrival at #PortBlair. Check in cottage and rest. 
16:00 - Go to Cellular Jail till evening and watch the sound and light show which will give you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their #struggle. 

Day 2, #Sunday 
07:00 - Leave for #Havelock Island by ferry
12:00 - Reach Havelock Island and check in our cottage at #Vijaynagar Beach. 
14:00 - Post Lunch, visit #Radhanagar Beach - rated as best white sand beach of entire #Asia. 
19:00 - Go for night #kayaking in the dense mangroves. Spot a secret algae which glows at night. 

Day 3, #Monday
08:00 - Leave for #Krishnanagar circle and start #trek to Elephant beach. 
11:00 - Scuba Diving and watersports activities 
Get back to the cottage by evening. Have Bonfire and share stories. 

Day 4, #Tuesday
06:00 - Go to #kalapathar beach to watch #sunrise. 
08:00 - Take ferry to #Neil Island. 
11:00 - Reach Neil Island & cycle through the picturesque villages. 
Explore the relaxed life of Neil Islands. Interact with the locals. Watch Sunset at #Laxmanpura Beach. 

Day 5, #Wednesday. 
06:00 - Watch Sunrise. Go to explore #Ramnagar beach, #Bharatpur beach and #Sitapur beach. 
14:00 - Post Lunch, we take ferry back to Port Blair. Visit Corbyn's Cove Beach and later go to local market.

Day 6, #Thursday
07:00 - Leave for #Baratang Limestone cave visit. The Baratang island trip brings forward the tropical side of the Andaman Islands. Baratang offers dense forest, tribes, mangroves, dongi rides, beaches, birds, caves and trekking. 
13:00 - Trek to Rangat. Overnight at Rangat. (We might spot marine turtles here)

Day 7, #Friday. 
07:00 - Head towards Ross Island
There are a lot of historical contexts associated with the island. Visit Ross Island museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. 
14:00 - Explore North Island and watch sunset at Chidiyatapu, famous for views and bird watching. 
21:00 - Get back to cottage and enjoy a party night.

Day 8, Saturday
Reach Airport by 12 in afternoon and take a flight back to Mumbai with loads of memories and pictures.

Things to be carried:
- Two liters of water all time in your bag (preferably in PET bottles)
- Good shoes and sleepers
- Extra pair of clothes (one should carry clothing’s as per the schedule where-in we are mostly visiting the beaches), a towel etc.
- Personal medical kit and toiletries
- Cap, sunglasses, sunscreen etc.
- Carry a small Pittu (small bag to put your important things when we visit the other subordinate places)
- Kindly avoid wearing gold and other ornaments.
