Hello everyone,

We have planned a monsoon trek to Fort Rajmachi near Lonavala. Trek will be on 16th and 17th June 2012. We have plan this trek in such a way that people from Pune as well as Mumbai can join this trek. The rough time table for this trek will be as follows,

=> Assembling at Shivajinagar Railway Station, Pune on 16th June around 7.30 am.

=> Then we will go to Lonavala by 8.05 am local

=> People from Mumbai will join us at Lonavala

=> Mumbai people should come at lonavala around 9-9.30 am; Mumbaikar's please check following link for suitable railway,

=> Breakfast at Lonavala.

=> Start of the trek

=> We will reach Udhewadi (base of Rajmachi) till 2 to 3 pm)

=> Tea and some snacks

=> Visit to Rajmachi Lake

=> Dinner ( We have made necessary arrangements for dinner, so tiffin is not

necessary )

=> Next morning getting ready to see that two forts of Rajmachi around 6/6.30 am

=> We will be back at base by 11 to 11.30 am

=> A bit heavy breakfast

=> After that we will start decending towards Karjat side

=> We will have to reach karjat till 6 pm

=> After reaching karjat Trek will be over

=> Mumbai people will retrun to mumbai via local and Pune people will retrun to pune via Deccan Queen (@6.30) if we will be at karjat on time.

# Necessary things to carry:

=> Water ( at least 2ltr )

=> Personal Medicines (if any )

=> Torch

=> Pair of dry clothes

=> Some ready to eat food like biscuits, chivda etc will be helpful.

=> Wear shoes which have good grip on wet ground.

=> Camera, Mobile (other valuable things ) on your personal responsibility

=> some extra money

** Fee for this trek is Rs 400/-
